Laxmi Construction extended its heavy metal fabrication capabilities into the transportation sector through its association with the Rail Coach Factory (RCF) in Kapurthala. Established in 1986, RCF Kapurthala is one of India’s premier rail manufacturing facilities, dedicated to producing advanced passenger coaches built to international standards.

Laxmi Construction’s role focused on structural metal fabrication, sub-assembly, and manufacturing support required for coach shell production. The work involved precision cutting, bending, jig assembly, and heavy structural welding of steel chassis components and outer body frames.

Given the strict dynamic stress, weight, and safety requirements of passenger rail vehicles, all metalwork had to meet tight dimensional tolerances and quality control parameters. The team worked alongside RCF engineers to support production workflows, applying robust fabrication techniques to produce sturdy shell components capable of enduring high operational speeds and heavy loads.
