BPCL De-Aromatized Solvents (DAS) Unit

Executed for Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) in Mumbai, this project focused on field piping fabrication, equipment integration, and structural installation within the De-Aromatized Solvents (DAS) unit. Operating within an active brownfield refinery environment required stringent adherence to high safety protocols and precise field execution.

Laxmi Construction deployed specialized teams to undertake complex site welding, structural fit-ups, and overhead pipe laying. The scope encompassed layout planning, pipe spool fabrication, quality-controlled field welding, and secure anchoring onto structural steel supports. Specialized industrial piping runs were installed to transport process fluids safely through the solvent refining stages.

 Furthermore, field personnel managed the alignment and mounting of associated machinery, pressure vessels, and control valves, ensuring all connections matched engineering schematics. The execution required continuous quality monitoring, non-destructive testing, and pressure testing prior to handing over the system for pre-commissioning.

By completing the DAS unit piping and structural installation within tight schedules and strict environmental constraints, Laxmi Construction demonstrated its technical capability in handling complex downstream refinery projects.
