Project Description :

Situated at Indian Oil Corporation Limited’s (IOCL) Panipat facility, this project involved specialized skid piping assembly and integration under the major P-25 expansion initiative. Laxmi Construction was entrusted with fabricating and assembling the Steamer Off-Gas Compressor Package, a complex modular unit engineered specifically for polypropylene processing and catalytic dewaxing operations.

Skid piping projects demand high technical precision, as all components—including compressors, pressure vessels, interconnecting pipes, valves, and electrical control panels—must be compactly designed and assembled onto a single rigid structural frame (skid base). The team performed complete structural skid framing, accurate pipe fit-ups, alignment, and specialized welding capable of withstanding aggressive industrial gases and high-pressure regimes.

Once the modular components were assembled onto the skid, rigorous internal checks were performed to ensure structural integrity and leak-proof connections. The final skid unit was engineered to integrate smoothly into IOCL’s broader refinery processing architecture, allowing for efficient off-gas collection and compression while minimizing downtime during site installation.

This project highlights Laxmi Construction’s capacity to deliver intricate, shop-fabricated skid packages that satisfy demanding chemical process specifications.
